Hello World,

Yup, Jacob got his very first report card yesterday.  I am pleased to announce that he did very well.

Congratulations Jacob on your hard work and success on this first report card!

I must admit that when I first looked at the report card I started to blow up and start whippin butts because all I saw was C’s on the report card.  Thankfully Wanda was there to straighten me out and explain that MPS kindergarten class doesn’t use a normal grading system.  Instead they use the following:

C – Consistently Demonstrates Skill

S – Sometimes Demonstrates Skill

N – Never / Rarely Demonstrates Skill

Jacob got a C on everything except for Identifying Rhyming Words (S) and Writes First and last Name(N).  These are pretty good results in my opinion. Hell, I think I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade before my sister, Robin, taught me how to spell my last name.

I also signed Jacob up for the this seasons Youth Recreation Baseball.  More to come on that later.
