Hello World!!!

Yesterday, Monday, July 14, 2008 Jacob has to have his very first surgery.  Yep, he had his tonsills and adenoids taken out by Dr. Mahon at the St. Francis Womens and Children Health Campus in Greenville, SC.

I was very proud of Jacob.  He was such a big trooper during the whole thing.  He never did act scared, although he was talking non-stop the whole time.  I could tell he was a little nervous.  I think Mommy was nervous too.

Well the surgery went very well, no complications.  He is home now eating ice cream and pop-sicles.  I am sure he will milk this as long as he can.  I hope he can sit still long enough to let the stitches heal, but I am not too hopeful for this.
