Santa has come and gone.  He stopped by the Scarborough house and left Jacob and Katie plenty of gifts.  Enjoy a few pics of their morning rampage thru the wrapping paper.

Here are a few pics of us at the HollyWild Park this year.  We had a good time this year even though we waited in line for almost 2 hours in the car.  We joked around and sang Christmas Carols and eating Harry Potter Jelly Beans.

SantaRound one of the Christmas festivities is over.  We had our annual get together at Nana’s House tonight.  There was wrapping paper flying every which way.  Better watch out, might lose a finger if you get too close.  All the kid’s got plenty of toys again this year.  I just hope they realize what a pain in the ass they have been all year and how lucky they are that they got any toys at all.  They should’ve gotten switches and coal. (haha, that’ll teach ‘em)

Oops, I better get to bed before Santy gets here.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Its Christmas time again my friends.  Its a time for remembering those that we don’t think about all the time.  Take the time this year to remember an old friend.  Just let them know that you are thinking about them.  You’ll feel better when you do!

I sometimes lose sight of what Christmas is supposed to be about.  Its easy with all the hustle and bustle of shopping .  This year I am trying to remember what its all about.  Spending time with family!

I hope you all remember too.

Merry Christmas to all!

I absolutely hate eating with someone next to me on my left hand side.  We went out to get some new pillows tonight and ended up stopping at the IHOP for supper.  As usual, Jacob sat next to me and this time he was on my left hand side.  I eat with my left hand and Jacob uses his right so we bumped elbows all night at the table.  Needless to say I had no room at all to eat.

Its Thursday before Christmas. I can’t believe another year has come and gone already! It seems just like yesterday we were ringing in the New Year. Jacob is 4 and Katie is 2. Damn, time really does fly when you’re having fun.

I just learned that an old buddy of mine from high school, Jaime, is going to be having a baby in this coming New Year. My brother’s wife is pregnant also, expecting in February. It seems that everyone is growing up and wanting to start families. What is the world coming to!?! None of my friends are irresponsible and careless anymore. I guess that leaves me no one to live vicariously through.

I was going to say something gushy here about the joys of fatherhood but decided against it. Instead I will say that those that are fathers know how I feel as well.

Anyway, congrats to all those that are expecting and those that have already expected and received. Blessed are those that can remain calm long enough for their children to reach puberty. haha

We had only one incident last night, so I guess it was a good night.  We decided to go out to eat last night instead of cooking.  On the way to Clinkscales, to get a RX filled, Jacob was holding his Undertaker out of the window and he dropped it.  Of course he started crying and blaming it on everyone but himself.  You would have thought he lost his left arm.

We tried to look for it but to no avail.  It was too dark outside at this point (around 6:30) to see anything.  We pulled the car over and had the bright lights on while I was walking up and down the road looking for it.  I bet I looked like a homeless guy looking for some where warm to curl up.  All I needed was a shopping cart full of junk and I would have been good to go.

Anyway, we made it to the House of Pizza and I started to show out.  They have a new waitress now and she sucks!  First, she is nowhere near as pretty as the other girl and she brought me a flat drink.  That is two strikes right there.  I ordered Pepsi to drink and when she brought it there was not a single bubble in the entire cup.  Flat as all get out!  Dang!  Then she screwed up our order.  Strike three!  I’ll let you guess how much of a tip that I gave her.

Tonight I finally had enough of the cursed exercise ball that Michelle had to have, and like most exercise equipment in this house, ended up as a toy for Jacob and Katie.  Jacob was at the end of the couch bouncing on that damned thing and I grabbed it up and threw it in the garage, with a few choice words along the way, of course.

How can someone so small, Jacob that is, be so annoying?  I think kids intentionally think of things to do that they know will make their parents angry.  It must be some kind of child instinct to take a seemingly un-annoying object and do something with or to it to make it blood-curdlingly annoying!

Just one word, DAMN!
